Remember When the Tea Party Shutdown Obama Rallies? Oh Wait, They Didn’t…

When I was young, my parents always told me that tantrums have consequences. That’s a lesson the Left has apparently not learned as we see from their actions in Chicago.

We all know the 2016 Presidential election is far from over, but Donald Trump is clearly the front runner. The thought of Trump becoming President is causing the Left to become unhinged. Trump was forced to cancel a planned appearance at a Chicago area rally because Left-wing protestors had a ‘spontaneous’ protest and it was ‘yuuuuuge.’ This manufactured protest had been planned for days. It was as spontaneous as the Benghazi protest that got four Americans killed.

Being from Wisconsin, this brings back memories of the temper tantrum against Governor Scott Walker when highly paid union protesters stormed the capitol building to protest Act 10. That was the bill that changed Wisconsin’s collective bargaining laws, was introduced in 2011. This bill made Wisconsin Democrats and Unions have a gigantic temper tantrum because Walker had the audacity to challenge their power. The Unions bussed in thousands of paid protestors from all over the country. They also invested millions of dollars to mount the effort to Recall Governor Walker. Wisconsin then made history and showed the Unions ‘what democracy looked like’ and Walker overwhelmingly beat the Recall. The ironic part is the actions of the Left actually set the stage for Walker’s ascent in the national ranks. He was the only Governor in history to survive a recall, their efforts made Walker stronger.

Déjà vu!

As Albert Einstein once said, ‘insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.’ Apparently the ‘insanity’ is alive and well on the Left and they are trying to derail Donald Trump before he gets the chance to become the Republican nominee and thus, one election day away from the Presidency. So, sticking to their Alinskyesque tactics, the ‘tolerant’ Left arranged a mass protest, another ‘yuuuuuge’ temper tantrum. But like the protests in Wisconsin, this tactic will likely backfire. Press like this has led the Trump campaign to spend very little money compared to the other candidates but still remains the frontrunner. Trump OWNS the news cycles and it looks like this will propel Trump even higher. Either he is the luckiest man on the planet or the most brilliant marketer in presidential history, the free advertising is worth millions.

I would be remiss if I did not point out the utter hypocrisy of the ‘tolerant’ Left. They only believe in the First Amendment when they agree with you, if not, they silence you. Do you remember the Tea Party shutting down any Obama rallies to keep Democrats from speaking to their supporters? No, of course not because it NEVER happened. So, in their attempt to silence Trump and his supporters, the manufactured Chicago protesters may have just created ‘President Elect’ Trump. Ironic indeed.
